Bharatnatyam Course

"Bharatnatyam teaches an unique art in dance from where in an artist in the same make-up get-up and costume can portray all characters on the earth in a very short span of time.

With basic knowledge of Bharatnatyam a dancer is also able to perfrom many other styles of dances like western , filmi , folk and semi classical dance in a more graceful and developed manner".

"Bharatnatyam" has enriched our culture for over a period of 3400 years , & still continuing to do so in a more popular way , not only in India but also abroad .

One of the oldest art in dance form "Bharatnatyam" is very descriptive Moments and Expressions of an artist easily makes you visualise most the things on earth . Characters of Gods , Human beings , flowers , animals, birds & even Rakshasas are displayed by the Dancer using the 'Angas' - main body parts , the 'Upanas' - Smaller body parts , which make the movements & the 'Pratyangas' - Inner body parts ( the Heart , Brain & Mind) that gives out the sentiments in the forms of Expressions , that flow out through out the whole body .
